Immunization OPD (Monday)
The immunization program includes anthropometric and vital measurements, assessment of Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM), vaccination as per schedule, health education, counselling mothers about adverse reactions, and recording/reporting.
Geriatric OPD (Tuesday)
Specialized care for the elderly population, focusing on their unique health needs and providing comprehensive medical support. It will be equipped with specialized medical equipment such as BP Apparatus, ECG machines, Pulse Oximeters, and other diagnostic tools tailored for geriatric care.This OPD is headed and operationalized by Dr.Vrinda Sahasrabhojane.
ANC OPD (Wednesday)
Services include health education about registration, diet, immunization, ANC registration (new and old) with regular vitals monitoring, lab investigation follow-up, screening of high-risk symptoms, record keeping, and reporting. RHTC also celebrates major national health days.
Dental OPD (Mon-Sat)
The dental OPD offers regular dental procedures such as filling, extractions, and scaling. It also provides dispensing of medicine, maintains a drug expenditure log, and handles recording/reporting.
Medical Store
The medical store is responsible for placing medicine orders as per need and funds available, providing medicines to the ward, OPD, and lab as per indent, maintaining a record of medicines received from the distributor, and keeping bills and reporting.
Laboratory Health Unit Palghar
The laboratory at RHTC conducts various tests including Haemoglobin (Hb) for ANC mothers, Complete Blood Count (CBC), urine analysis, Hepatitis B, Venereal Disease Research Laboratory (VDRL) test, Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) testing for ANC mothers. It also performs routine blood workups for Postnatal Care (PNC) and reports laboratory data.
Labour Ward
TThe labour ward at RHTC provides ANC care in the In-Patient Department (IPD), delivery care including counselling, normal delivery, and post-delivery care, neonatal care including APGAR scoring, cord care, vitamin K injection, assessment, and breastfeeding initiation. It also offers PNC care, immunization (OPD), referral and follow-up services, family planning including counselling, copper T insertion and removal, health education on breastfeeding, nutrition, family planning, and record and reporting.
